StumbleUpon
Matt mentioned StumbleUpon a few days ago. StumbleUpon is a social networking community based around boredom random websites. Users install the toolbar and click “Stumble” then give the page a thumb-up or thumbs-down. Based on the tags each page has and the pages you like, StumbleUpon creates a profile of people with similar interests, and sites you may like.
I “Stumbled” several of my own pages to get them in to the system, then watch the traffic roll in. If it’s a good page, other users will give it a thumbs up. The more thumbs up, the more often the page appears for users with similar interests. Get some quality content “stumbled” and you’ll get a few hundred uniques very easily.
As an added bonus, each StumbleUpon member has their own profile where they can blog and post links. I’ve already found several of my pages blogged about on Stumble profiles. So you might even get a little SEO boost out of the deal.
